About LINDA GRIEGO
Linda Griego currently serves on the board of directors of media and entertainment conglomerate Paramount Global (CBS and Viacom merger). She previously served on the boards of AECOM, Granite Construction, American Funds, Southwest Water Company, City National Bank; and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (Los Angeles director).
She is the founder of the non-profit MLK Health and Wellness Community Development Corporation focused on health care infrastructure projects on the MLK Medical Campus in South Los Angeles. She serves on the board of directors of Exposition Park Foundation tasked with revitalizing the 160-acre urban park that is home to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and will be highlighted during the 2028 Olympics. She also serves on the board of directors of the UNM Rainforest Innovations focused on science innovation and economic development in downtown Albuquerque.
As President/CEO of Griego Enterprises for thirty years, she built and operated restaurants/bakeries in Los Angeles, including real estate development of an historical landmark firehouse, Engine Co. No. 28, into offices and restaurant. She also served as Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles in charge of economic development in the Tom Bradley Administration.
For more than two decades, Ms. Griego served as a trustee of foundations including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation. She served on the boards of several non-profits including the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Public Counsel, LA Phil, Cedar Sinai Medical Center and the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She was a founding member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations for more than three decades
Ms. Griego holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCLA. In 2008, she was awarded the UCLA Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the University.
